- The second show in the Jazz at Studio Z features reedsman Doug Little with his Cuban jazz ensemble Seven Steps To Havana. This septet of international talent combines the rhythmic sizzle of salsa with the harmonic richness of jazz. Concert at 7 pm. Open rehearsal/workshop 1-2 pm.
For the October 22nd show, group members will include Doug Little (saxophone/flute), Viviana Pintado (piano/vocals), Bill Simenson (trumpet), Matt Hanselka (trombone), Rey Rivera (drums), Andrew Gillespie (congas), and Dan Arlig (bass). The collective accomplishments of the musicians include international tours, dozens of CDs, and multiple Latin Grammy nominations
